A Helping Hand, supporting partners of lost Veterans

The VV&VMC - Gippsland Chapter fully supports "A Helping Hand" and is the club's primary Charity of choice

A Helping Hand, supporting partners of lost Veterans Inc. is a registered charity with the ACNC. It is an Australian non-profit organisation established in 2019 by ex-servicemen and others who are members of the Vietnam Veterans & Veterans Motorcycle Club - Gippsland Chapter (VV&VMC)

The objects and mission of the Charity are to provide for the sick, helpless, wounded, aged, disabled, destitute and
needy among those who are serving or have served in the Australian Defence Force, in particular their partners and dependants.

The charity was born, in late 2019, out of the past charitable activities of the VV&VMC.

Over the past 15 years, the VV&VMC club has provided many thousands of dollars to charitable organisations (e.g. PeterMac, Royal Children’s’ Hospital and others) and to a wide number of deserving persons. But the members of the club have decided to channel these philanthropic activities towards a specific and dedicated purpose now; they would like to focus this support towards “Lost” Veterans’ partners and dependants. The outcome of this endeavour has been the establishment of A Helping Hand.
